Fall 2026 Office of Student Affairs “Bridging the Gap to the Workplace: Industry Experience Initiative” – Workplace Visits and Career Lectures

Subsidized Activities: Industry and Workplace Visits, Career-Related Forums, or Lectures.

Program Application and Reimbursement Period / Activity Application Period: From now through November 1, 2026.

Deadline for Expense Reimbursement and Submission of Activity Results: January 15, 2027.

Number of Subsidized Activities per Department: Up to three activities this semester (either workplace visits or lectures). A separate application form must be submitted for each activity.

Application Procedure: Please submit the activity application form at least two weeks before the activity. The final application deadline is November 1, 2026. Please complete all fields clearly and submit the application to the Career Services Section, Office of Student Affairs, for review.

(1) Subsidized expenses for industry and workplace visits: transportation expenses, speaker fees, insurance premiums, meal expenses (breakfast and refreshments are not subsidized), accommodation expenses (up to NT$1,500 per student), and miscellaneous expenses (up to NT$2,000 per activity). If travel expenses for faculty members or administrative staff accompanying the students are covered by this program, documentation must be provided to certify that they have not received duplicate travel reimbursements from their respective colleges or departments. ※ Maximum subsidy: NT$100,000 per activity. ※ Applicants may apply for either high-speed rail expenses or accommodation expenses, but not both.

(2) Subsidized expenses for forums/lectures: speaker fees, speaker transportation expenses, meal expenses (or refreshments; applicants may select only one), and miscellaneous expenses (up to NT$1,000 per activity). ※ Maximum subsidy: NT$12,000 per activity.

(3) Submission of documents after the activity: Please submit the following materials to the Career Services and Alumni Services Section by January 15, 2027:

(1) Five original digital files of activity photos.

(2) Electronic copy of the Activity Results Record Form (please complete all required fields; incomplete submissions will be returned. Your full cooperation is greatly appreciated).

(3) Participant sign-in sheet or roster (for personal information, only names and departments/year levels are required).

(4) Consent Form for Industry and Workplace Visits (if applicable).

2. Hard-copy documents:

(1) Documents related to expense reimbursement (original documents are required and must include the University's tax ID number and comply with the University's reimbursement regulations). Receipts must be attached to A4 paper, with payment account information clearly indicated.

(2) Promotional materials for the activity (posters or other relevant materials, required for reimbursement).

3. Participants are encouraged to submit reflections on the activity (at least 800 Chinese characters). Reflections should be submitted together with the activity results report to the designated email address by January 15. Following evaluation, 100 outstanding submissions will be selected, and each selected participant will receive a NT$100 gift voucher. Each participant may receive the award only once.

4. To comply with the assessment requirements of the University's Institutional Advancement and Management Enhancement Project, units that fail to submit complete activity results by the deadline (January 15, 2027) will lose eligibility for the next round of subsidies.

5. Public transportation should be used whenever possible. If a vehicle is rented, it must be rented from a legally registered vehicle rental company, and the vehicle must be no more than five years old.

6. For company visit activities, participating students must be insured, and the activities must comply with the University's relevant Regulations Governing Safety Guidance for Off-Campus Student Activities.

Other Relevant Regulations

(1) As this semester's program ends on January 31, 2027, subsidies cannot be provided for activities that cannot be completed and reimbursed by January 15, 2027. All units are therefore requested to plan their activity schedules in advance.

(2) After the activity is completed, please complete the attached Activity Results Record Form in detail and submit it to the designated email address.

(3) Applications for activities unrelated to students' career competency development will not be subsidized.

(4) Application forms and related documents can be downloaded from the website of the Career Services Section, Office of Student Affairs.
