Study Abroad

• Apply through Swansea University's international admissions process and notify the Department after admission.
• Complete the master's program and required assessment to earn a master's degree from Swansea University.
• After returning to Taiwan, apply to transfer overseas credits toward Department requirements and complete NDHU graduation requirements to earn the bachelor's degree.

• Students must remain registered at NDHU and pay full NDHU tuition and fees while studying abroad.
• Tuition follows the applicable international master's fee schedule (approximately £20,000–£22,000 per year).
• Living and accommodation expenses are approximately £9,000–£12,000 per year.

Actual tuition is subject to the partner university's current-year announcement; living and accommodation costs vary by individual lifestyle.

• Applicants must be currently enrolled NDHU degree-seeking students and retain NDHU student status throughout the overseas dual-degree period.
• Applicants must have received an admission offer for a dual-degree program from a partner university.
• The dual-degree program must require tuition payment to both NDHU and the partner university.
• Applicants must not have previously received the airfare subsidy for an overseas dual-degree program.
• Funding is limited and available while quotas last.
• The subsidy for round-trip direct economy-class airfare is capped at NT$10,000 for Asia and NT$30,000 for Europe and the Americas per student. Reimbursement requires supporting documentation, and the actual amount is subject to approval.

• TOEFL iBT: total score of 79 or above, with Reading 8, Listening 7, Speaking 18, and Writing 16 or above.
• IELTS Academic: overall 6.5 or above, with each component 5.5 or above.
• PTE Academic: overall 58 or above, with each component 42 or above.
• Duolingo English Test: overall 105 or above, with each subscores 85 or above.

• Students below a 3.0 GPA or who have not fully met the specified coursework requirements may still apply, but may be required to submit GRE scores and/or two letters of recommendation.
• After completing the first three years at NDHU, students begin master's-level study at CU Denver in their fourth year.
• Complete the master's program and required assessment to earn the master's degree.
• After returning to Taiwan, apply to transfer CU Denver credits and complete NDHU graduation requirements to earn the bachelor's degree.

Actual admission review, English proficiency thresholds, and document requirements are subject to the latest regulations of the CU Denver Department of Economics. Students are advised to prepare language scores, transcripts, course syllabi, and other documents in advance.
