2026 Academic Year Zongcan Scholarship Application Announcement
According to the announcement from the College Office, the Department may recommend up to one scholarship candidate to the College for the selection process. Students who wish to apply for the Zongcan Scholarship should submit the required application documents to the Department Office by the end of the business day on Thursday, September 3. Thank you.
Eligibility requirements are as follows (all requirements must be met, with applicants meeting either one of the two conditions under Item 2):
1. Applicants must be currently enrolled students of NDHU (excluding students enrolled in in-service master's programs or continuing education programs).
2. Applicants must meet either of the following conditions: "students from financially disadvantaged households who hold a low-income or lower-middle-income household certificate" or "students whose families have encountered unexpected circumstances resulting in financial hardship."
3. Applicants must have achieved an average GPA of 3.0 or above in the previous academic year, received a conduct grade of A or above in both semesters, and have no disciplinary record during their enrollment at NDHU.
The required application documents are listed below. Items 1–2 are mandatory. Items 3–4 should be submitted according to the applicable eligibility condition (applicants from financially disadvantaged households who hold a low-income or lower-middle-income household certificate should submit Item 3; applicants whose families have encountered unexpected circumstances resulting in financial hardship should submit Item 4). Item 5 is optional.
1. Scholarship Application and Recommendation Form
2. Transcript for the previous academic year (including class ranking and disciplinary records).
3. Low-income or lower-middle-income household certificate.
4. Statement explaining the family's unexpected major circumstances (must be reviewed and signed/stamped by the academic advisor, or accompanied by a medical diagnosis certificate issued within the past six months or other relevant supporting documents).
5. Other supplementary documents.
