Applications are now open for the 2027 MOE Elite Scholarship Program, funded by the Ministry of Education (MOE). The program supports university lecturers from Southeast and South Asian countries in pursuing master's or doctoral degrees in Taiwan, with priority given to doctoral degree applicants.
Eligibility Requirements:
1. Applicants who intend to apply for admission to the Master, Ph.D. Program in the Department of Economics.
2. Applicants must currently hold a full-time position at the rank of Lecturer or above at a university in a Southeast or South Asian country.
※According to MOE regulations, applicants holding positions such as Assistant Lecturer, Associate Lecturer, or Part-time Lecturer are not eligible for the scholarship.
3. Priority will be given to lecturers from high-quality universities in Southeast and South Asian countries and institutions included in the MOE's recommended priority list (see attachment).
Scholarship Benefits:
＊Scholarship Amount: NT$25,000 per month per recipient. Scholarship recipients at NDHU will be charged tuition and fees according to the fee standards for international students.
＊Scholarship Duration: Up to 2 years for master's students and up to 3 years for doctoral students.
＊Expected Semester of Enrollment: Fall Semester 2026 (Academic Year 116, First Semester).
＊Applicants must apply to a degree program taught entirely in English.
