Application Announcement for the Department of Economics Financial Certification Scholarship, Spring 2026

To encourage students in the Department to enhance their professional competencies, the Department provides financial assistance to currently enrolled students who obtain eligible financial certifications or the Net-Zero Carbon Planning Manager Certification. Eligible students are invited to prepare the required documents and submit their applications within the designated application period.

Eligibility and Financial Assistance

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled students in the Department.
  • Eligible certifications are limited to those specified in this announcement.
  • Certification period: January 1, 2026 to June 30, 2026.
  • Financial assistance will be provided based on the actual certification examination registration fee paid, up to a maximum of NT$500 per certification.
  • Each student may receive a maximum of NT$500 in financial assistance per semester, subject to the availability of funds for the semester.

Application Period

  • General students: From the registration date of the semester through June 30, 2026.
  • Graduating students: Applications must be submitted by May 29, 2026.
  • All required hard-copy application documents must be submitted by the applicable deadline. Late applications will not be accepted.

Required Documents

  1. Scholarship Application Form.
  2. A copy of the certification.
  3. The original receipt for the certification examination registration fee (paper or electronic invoice/receipt; bank remittance or transfer records will not be accepted).
  4. Complete the Google Form.
  5. A screenshot of the certification record in the Student Certification System.

Important Notes

  • The application form must be typed or completed legibly by hand.
  • A separate application must be submitted for each registration fee receipt. Financial assistance may be claimed only once for the same examination registration fee.
  • Application documents and supporting materials must be issued or obtained during the current semester and submitted within the application period announced for that semester.
  • Duplicate applications for the same expense are not permitted. If an application is found to be ineligible or to contain falsified information or documents, the recipient must return any financial assistance already received.
  • Please ensure that your bank account information is already registered with the University to facilitate payment of the financial assistance. If the registered account is not with Chunghwa Post, Taiwan Business Bank, or Bank of Taiwan, a transaction fee will be deducted in accordance with the applicable bank regulations.
